With Pellucid, emphasis is placed on water’s basic functional properties that we tend to disregard. As diluted acrylic paint evaporates on different panels of reclaimed glass, varying watermarks and layers of imprints are created, showcasing the effect of water’s cohesive and thermal qualities, which correspond to the incidental changes in its environment. The use of reclaimed glass is also to reuse the disposed material, aligning with the idea of repurposing.
